Dogs:Dog viewing is Tuesday and Thursday 4pm-5pm. Please stop in and see staff before going into the dog run. Cats and Small Animals:These hours are for potential adopters to view our animals. There is no need to make an appointment but we do suggest filling out an application online before coming if you wish to adopt the same day or have a specific animal in mind. Adoption appointments: Appointments are available for potential adopters with approved applications almost every day of the week. There is no obligation to adopt at an appointment. These adoption appointments are a great way to spend uninterrupted time with our staff and your potential new pet to get all the information you need to make your decision about bringing your new friend home! You can also stop in on our open adoption days, no appointment needed.
Office Hours: We can assist you with all other needs Tuesday through Saturday from 10am - 5 pm. We are closed for business on Sundays and Mondays.
Surrenders or Stray Animals: Surrenders and stray animals are accepted on a case by case basis. Please call 715-861-5748 or email [email protected] before bringing an animal to Chippewa Humane. If it is an emergency and you cannot reach us, contact your local Police Department for assistance.
All voice messages and emails will be returned within 24 hours.
